Over the next couple of weeks I will be posting up some more pics in regards to what I got over Christmas, but in the meantime I thought I would share with everyone what Santa delivered. This year it was a little bit different, because I wanted to incorporate games that I could play with my family. So that's when legendary comes in, as both my young sons are superhero mad, plus it's a living card game which hopefully makes all the difference, in regards to it's cost, as it will work out a little bit more cheaper in the near future. On the back of that the Star Wars card game was also a new addition to my collection, but overall I am concerned that it might be a little bit more complicated than legendary. And finally not forgetting X-Wing, it certainly needs no introduction and the new additions will certainly come in handy on the table top.

Xmas Space Hulk.
Today I managed to play a couple more missions of space hulk, and overall I am pleased with the game on the PC. It's not perfect but it's as close to perfection as I think you can get for £7.00. When it was recently on sale. Also it is not exactly easy and it is quite challenging at times.
All of which are definitely getting me in the mood to finish off my miniatures for the game, hopefully over the next couple of days I will post up some pics.
Plus I'm going to get my friend AJ involved in the game as we've never actually played, with his Imperial guard in the hulk, as I think it would be rather cool for the first time, seeing them fight in the claustrophobic corridors rather than the open battlefield with a new enemy at my disposal.

A early Xmas present, from my best mate AJ from Kromlech.
To my surprise this came as a bit of a shock, when I finally got the chance to meet up with my best mate AJ, before Xmas and I think you'll all agree they all do look rather awesome. It's the first time that I have seen Kromlech stuff up close, and I must admit the quality is outstanding. I would highly recommend everyone to go ahead and check them out. The plan is very simple as these will fit quite nicely with my new ork blood axes looded wagons, as I'm going to paint them in a World War II color scheme.
I must say a big thank you AJ, it really was a bit of a surprise, and will definitely return the favour. I think it's about time that I finally started to get my blood axe boys up and running and finished to go on the tabletop.

Texturing Man O War bases to look like the sea.
It is certainly no easy challenge, but I recently came across all-purpose wall filler, and thought it might come in very handy. From the start it's a very simple process by adding a little water and applying to your miniature base to represent the sea. Also in the last picture I have done a little prototype work in regards to my ship sails, in time all will be revealed.
