My Custom Blood Bowl Pich

I actually finished this project some time ago but I have only recently had the time to actually post it, on my blog for everyone to see. It's probably one of  the projects that I am most proud of, and it really does make the game standout. I think in the future I am going to add some advertising as well as making some stands and scoreboards all of which will hopefully make it 100% finished. It also takes centre stage at all of the N.D.G.H tournaments that I run, proudly hosting the final in the last round on the day.

Hopefully this will give you some inspiration to do your very own custom pitch.

All The Action From The 1st NAF All Ireland Blood Bowl 1 Day Tounament Sponsored By Impact Minatures & Tritex-Games

Northern Ireland doesn't exactly have the biggest Blood Bowl gaming community, but I think this demonstrates that there is lots of potential to get the game up and running locally,
and this is a fantastic first step.

Just want to say a big thank you to everyone for making it such a brilliant success on the day. It was unfortunate that 4 people couldn't actually make it, but nonetheless it was still great to see the game that I love so much being played, especially in the final game what a great moment.

So go check out all the rounds and the final scores and hopefully everyone is looking forward to June, for the chaos cup.

A great a goblin conversion.

And so it all went into the final round to decide the overall winner between the
Rottenham Grotspur v  More Killz Orcs

So there you have it and congratulations to everyone that attended on the day, and it looks like the Rottenham Grotspurwe our the 1st all Ireland Blood Bowl champions.

I have a 40k game tomorrow night, and it's Orks for the win.

And this is what I'm thinking about taking. I think it will give me a number of potential threats on the tabletop for my opponent to deal with, and there is still some units that I have not managed to play with. All of which will hopefully make it very difficult for him to win, plus it can certainly on paper spit out alot of ork Dakka! Dakka! and considering I'm against tau/eldar it's certainly not going to be easy.

How to make 40k Desert Scenery Part 2

This is probably my last post in February 2013, so it seems this year that I have been spending a lot of time doing scenery, and something which I've actually quite enjoyed and in some ways I find it easier and more enjoyable than painting miniatures for a number of reasons. So below you can see some of the pictures for the progress that I have been making with my desert scenery.

Above is the base coat and below is some pics of the first steps of highlighting.

Not much to see, but an update nonetheless, so hopefully next time I will have a little bit more progress to display, so until then.

New Necromunda 40k Hive World Scenery Update 2

I managed to get a little bit more done today, with painting textured paint on the scenery basis. Which is something that I always enjoy and look forward to, because you really do get a sense of the whole project coming together. Although I'm still not finished as I would like to add a little bit more which in turn would give it a more urban feel, for example car's that have been abandoned and destroyed, as well as some industrial plant. All of which are easily to get a hold of with cheap toy's that are available in £ shops locally.

New Necromunda 40k Hive World Scenery

Well you can't exactly play Necromunda the game if you don't have scenery. So it goes without saying that there is no better time to start a new project, and for me this is probably the best bit of my hobby. And after getting my son involved  over the weekend, this is the progress that we have made so far.
